South Caradon Mine with CHAHP Project Officer Iain Rowe (in association with the Southeast Cornwall Walking Festival). Find out about this fascinating site which has more legal protection than Stonehenge due to a unique ecology that has been shaped by what was once one of Cornwall’s greatest mines.  Learn also about the CHAHP funded stabilisation work. Wear stout footwear & bring waterproofs, some steep and slippery traverses.  10am until around 1pm. Meet outside Minions Post Office.

These next 2 events below are being organised by Tamar Valley AONB, Cordial Project and are free to all. 

21st September 5-9.30pm BioBlitz at Pentilly, near Saltash.  An evening bug hunt, moth trapping and bat walks. 

22nd September 10am-3pm Bioblitz at Pentilly, near Saltash Bird spotting, pond dipping, bug hunting, wildflower walks and fun for all .
