Season's greetings from all of us at CHAHP

Well as the year draws close to its end we have some exciting news about our team; we have finally recruited a new Project Officer who will be starting toward the end of January. This will make the world of difference to us and you, we hope! In the New Year I'll introduce our new Officer who we're sure will be a great asset.

So on this cold winter's night I'd like to wish you a warm and merry Christmas and a very happy New Year from us all at CHAHP.

CHAHP at St Cleer Church Christmas Tree Festival

We were really proud to be invited to take part in St Cleer Church's third annual Christmas Tree Festival and with the help of Darite School we created something really different!

The school children from Mrs Hawker's class at Darite school helped Iain and I produce some lovely moor inspired decorations, using copper gilt. The children's copper engine houses hang next to miniture fluffy sheep on our CHAHP tree.

If you have a chance do pop down to St Cleer's beautiful church to see over 20 Christmas Trees decorated by different groups, schools and organisations from around the Caradon Hill area. It finishes tomorrow morning, but before then they are having a coffee morning and all are welcome.

Our first blog!

So here we are, finally we're online and this blog is our way of keeping you up to date with what the project is up to.

It's quite exciting for us as not only can we tell you about us, you can tell us directly what you want to see happening in the Caradon Hill area. All comments are appreciated and we want to be a proactive part of the community so please also keep us up to date with what you are doing.

I'll be back shortly to let you know about our fantastic Christmas tree in St Cleer's third Christmas Tree Festival held in the very beautiful St Cleer Church.
