Dormouse volunteer day

Members of the 30-strong volunteer group installing dormouse boxes

200 dormouse boxes were installed across 8 sites within the Project area on 5th March by 30 volunteers who spent a busy day wiring the boxes to suitable trees.
Over the next few years the boxes will be monitored by local nature groups promoted by the Project and it is to be hoped that the dormice will find and benefit from their new homes.
